Diving technology

Several centuries BC soldierswere  crossing rivers using inflated goatskin floats, since then diving technology had leaped way much further that that basic type. History have witnessed the emerge of several ways and types that allowed human kind to remain underwater doing all sorts of activities, whether recreational, commercial or military.

In this section, diving, we highlight some of the technical advances in diving equipment and methods that facilitates more and more exploration to the underwater world.  Dive in Doha – Qatar and Learn more about  PADI   DPV  speciality course   by PADI Master instructor  Khaled Zaki

Closed circuit rebreathes, now the first choice of diving elite, especially the latest ones with all electronics and advanced hardware and software for safety enable to approach marine life much more closely with minimal disturbance

ROV

A remotely operated underwater vehicle, commonly referred to as an ROV, is a tethered underwater vehicle. They are common in deep-water industries such as offshore hydrocarbon extraction. While the traditional abbreviation “ROV” stands for remotely operated vehicle, one must distinguish it from remote control vehicles operating on land or in the air.

DPV

A diver propulsion vehicle (DPV, also known as an underwater propulsion vehicle or underwater scooter) is an item of diving equipment used by scuba and rebreather divers to increase range underwater. Range is restricted by the amount of breathing gas that can be carried, the rate at which that breathing gas is consumed under exertion, and the time limits imposed by the dive tables to avoid decompression sickness. DPVs can have military application; an example is the Diver Propulsion Device (DPD) from STIDD Systems in the US.
