Advanced Level Courses

PADI Advanced courses; the next step in your diving adventure Whether you completed your first dive training in Qatar Marine or not, the next level of PADI advanced courses with Qatar Marine will expand your experience and thrill you with adventure.

PADI along with Qatar Marine has many years of experience in diver training and therefore we recognize the need for a variety of training for Advanced Open Water level divers.

PADI Advanced courses cover all the training programs available from Open Water level on-wards. If you have not dived for a while, or have not dived in the Qatar we recommend a check dive, equally you may choose to have a full SCUBA review, which we guarantee will give you confidence to continue.

The PADI Adventure diver and the PADI Advanced Open Water will give you the opportunity to dive in new environment using deferent equipment and to explore more of under water secrets These courses will introduce you for sure to different types of diving and if you enjoy one particular type you can extend your knowledge with a PADI Specialty course.

PADI Adventure Diver

Are you keen to continue your SCUBA adventure but don’t have much time? Qatar Marine has the perfect solution, the PADI Adventure diver. We will help you discover more SCUBA diving adventures in Qatar with this fun and easy one day course.

The PADI Adventure Diver Course consists of three different adventure dives. Your PADI Instructor will help you choose which dives to complete from a vast range of possibilities. Peak performance Boyancy ,Navigation ,Night dive ,enreached Air Nitrox ,search and recovery ,photography and many more

The PADI Adventure diver gives you so many options; the only hard part of the course is choosing just three dives. Best of all the PADI Adventure Diver certification can be topped up with just two extra dives to gain the PADI Advanced Open Water level and gives you dive credits towards the various PADI Specialty courses.

What’s involved?
Diving from a boat or the shore you simply select your dives (logistics permitting), complete the knowledge reviews and then dive.

What does this qualification mean to me?
Completion of the Deep Dive will allow you to dive to 30m** depth. If not, your depth will remain at 18m. Your chosen dives will also give you the credit for the first dive of the relevant specialty course.
(** Guests younger than 15 years are restricted to 21m)

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver

Are you ready for the next giant stride into your SCUBA adventure? As a qualified PADI open water diver you can now sign up for PADI Advanced open water diver training. The diversity of Arabian Gulf diving sites makes it easy for Qatar Marine to offer a variety of training dives. The diving is the easy part; the difficulty is which dives to choose.

The PADI Advanced open water diver course is made up of five training dives. There are two core dives which are the deep and navigational dive. With these skills you will get the most out of your Arabian Gulf experience. You decide, along with your PADI Instructor which other three training dives to choose.

Choose from Boat dive, Drift dive, Multilevel dive, Naturalist dive, Night dive, Wreck dive plus many more. Your PADI Instructor will help you decide, so that you are guaranteed to get the best out of your Red Sea adventure.

If you really love one type of diving and want to learn more about it; then the PADI module system gives you a dive credit for each dive of your PADI Advanced open water diver course towards the PADI Speciality course of the same dive training.

What’s involved?

Minimum age: 12 years. (10 and 11 year olds may not participate in Deep Dive so cannot be advanced divers)

- PADI Adventure dives which are available to divers 10 years or older: AWARE-Fish Identification, Boat,
Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist, Digital Underwater Photography,
National Geographic, Underwater Navigator, Dry Suit.

- PADI Adventure dives which are available to divers 12 years or older.: All of the above plus Deep, Dive Propulsion Vehicle (DPV), Drift, Multilevel, Search and Recovery, Enriched Air Nitrox and Night.

- PADI Adventure dives which are available to divers 15 years or older: All of the above plus Wreck.
 
 

PADI Emergency First Response

Qatar Marine team knows how important it is to know how to respond to an emergency situation. The PADI emergency first response course provides this knowledge in a practical easy format; it’s a course for divers and non-divers, a course for everyone which ultimately could save lives.

The PADI emergency first response course will train you in the basics for CPR and First Aid with the same priorities and techniques used by paramedics and doctors. Taking this course can make a real difference to your ability to deal with emergency situations; it will give you the confidence to act.

If you are considering taking the PADI Rescue Diver course you will need to complete the PADI emergency first response course beforehand. However Qatar Marine team reiterates that this course is for everyone; so if you are a non-diver take advantage of this and sign up. You never know when this vital training will be needed.

Combine knowledge development and practical, hands on training and develop confidence to care. A final exam and scenario practice complete the course. Although a serious subject the PADI Emergency First Response Course provides a relaxed and fun learning environment.

Recognised in over 80 countries the course conforms to internationally recognized First Aid standards.

PADI Rescue Diver

When you become a more confident SCUBA diver you naturally want to learn more. The PADI Rescue diver course is a great way to learn more skills for your own safety and also for the safety of other divers in a variety of SCUBA situations.

Qatar Marine highly recommends signing up for the PADI Rescue diver course in the Red Sea. It is a valuable course and also great fun, especially when practicing the rescue drills in shallow water on our house reef. Later you will practice your rescue skills in open water and participate in managing emergency scenarios.

This course will enable you to help yourself and/or others as you discover ways to not only deal with situations, but to recognize and prevent potential problems. The PADI Rescue diver course increases confidence which will take your enjoyment of SCUBA diving to a new level.

What’s involved?
Introduces you to new dive theory, and new SCUBA rescue skills which are learnt and practiced in shallow water before venturing into open water. You will learn how to respond, assist or even manage emergency scenarios.

What does this qualification mean to me?
The PADI Rescue Diver ranking enables you to help yourself or others as you discover ways to not only deal with situations, but to recognize and prevent potential problems.

Once qualified the certification will take you one step closer to the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating or to the entry level courses of becoming a PADI dive professional.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
Minimum age 12 for Junior Rescue or 15 for Rescue Diver
Before starting module 2 of the Rescue Diver course, it is necessary that you have completed an Emergency First Response course within the last 24 months, or an equivalent ‘accepted’ certification including primary care (CPR) and secondary care (First Aid).
 
 

PADI Master Scuba Diver

PADI likes to reward its SCUBA divers for their achievements in SCUBA diver training and therefore acknowledge the highest level of non-professional PADI diver with the prestigious title of PADI Master SCUBA diver.

Qatar Marine team also likes to encourage novice divers to aim for this premier ranking, as it shows a highly trained diver with a vast knowledge in a variety of diving disciplines.

The Arabian Gulf can provide all the adventures you will need for training dives to reach this goal. You will need to qualify in five PADI Specialities. Why not choose Wreck diver and learn how to properly dive on a wreck, Drift dive properly, Boat diver on one of our dive boats, Night diver on our splendid house reef and Naturalist diver to learn more about nature.

The PADI system allows you to use the first dive of each dive completed in your PADI Advanced Open Water diver as a credit towards each corresponding PADI specialty. However you don’t have to do this and can choose any course which interests you.

You will also need to complete the PADI Rescue course and have 50 logged dives. After completion of these courses, Red Sea Diving College and PADI will recognize your achievements and look at you as a PADI Master SCUBA diver.

Once you have completed the PADI Master Scuba diver requirements you are eligible to apply for the rating.

The specialties are completely your choice. You can either opt to complete those you started on the advanced course or you can indulge in something completely different if your interests have changed.

What does this qualification mean to me?
As a PADI Master Scuba Diver you have attained a level of competence and commitment to diving which is internationally recognized and respected.

To reach this level you must complete all levels of diver training including Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response and 5 PADI Specialty courses as well as having a minimum of 50 logged dives.
